Vintage Mid-Century Nathan Teak and Glass Astro Coffee Table. A stylish mid-century "Astro" teak & glass coffee table by Nathan. This unique style of table is highly sought-after. It is elegance itself, with the removable round glass top sitting in a curved triangle design - called a Reuleaux triangle (I looked it up).

The legs and shaped stretchers form a negatively-curved triangle, which contrasts beautifully with the top. While this is a mid-century design, it is a timeless piece of British furniture that would look good in a modern home as well as in a classic or retro-themed interior. The teak, teak veneer and strengthened glass are all in good used condition.

The frame has been sanded lightly by hand and re-stained, keeping the characterful (though minor) signs of use and natural colour variations. The glass top has some superficial surface scratches, which are difficult to see in the images. Please see the images in close-up to check the table's condition.
