Vintage Mid Century Ceramic Winking Owl Signed Costa Italy 5113. Handmade in Italy circa 1960 by Ceramiche Artistche R.

COSTA, Via Col Di Grado, 15, 36061 Bassano del Grappa, Italy. This is a large centerpiece size ceramic sculpture of a winking owl. It is white with a green and yellow floral with butterfly design on the sides, head and back.

The owls wings are folded behind it. It is perched on a tree limb with only the leaves showing under the talons. It measures 14 inches tall by 7 inches wide by 7 inches deep. It is truly a one of a kind piece.

Wear is consistent with age and use. There is one small chip at the base of the wing and a little crazing on one side. This item is considered to be in good condition.
