Vintage Mid-Century Impasto OIL PAINTING on Canvas ABSTRACT Blues & Reds c1950s

  

For sale is this nice mid-century abstract oil painting on canvas. From the oxidation of the stretcher and style of the painting and frame, I would estimate it was painted in the 1950s or early 1960s.

It does not appear to be signed, nor is there an indication of the country of origin. Nevertheless, this is a nicely painted impasto oil painting with a good "look".

The gilt wood and fabric frame measures about 16 1/2 inches by 12 inches. The painting is in good condition with no rips, holes or apparent paint loss. Some wear and scratching to the frame.
