Vintage Ercol Dining Table & 6 Teak Meredew Chairs (4 side chairs and 2 carvers). A refectory draw-leaf table Model 153 in the Ercol (Old Colonial antique waxed) golden dawn finish, dating the table between 1957 - mid-1970.
This relatively compact table is ideal where space is limited seating six people when closed and extending to seat eight when fully open. The unrestored table top is in the original mint condition finish, with very minor evidence of use, the traditional shaped refectory under-frame is in very good, sturdy and stable condition. This table is originally finished in the Golden Dawn colour.The chairs were designed and produced by British furniture manufacturing company Meredew in the mid-twentieth century. The delightful set has six chairs with striking slanted backs and original upholstered seat bases. The spacious dining table extends to comfortably accommodate 4-6 dining chairs with a good amount of dining space. The piece has a beautiful teak grain, warm tones, and rich colors throughout.
