Vintage Mid 20th Century Period Piece. Bespoke Hand Made Teak Wood Room Divider Screen.

Circa 1960's early 1970's. Dimensions: 220 x 91 x 23 (H x W x D cm) We are delighted to offer this one off vintage room divider. Mid 20th Century modern period piece was bespoke hand made in the 60's from a teak woods. The shelf wood used to construct this piece still retains it's original retail sticked that reads'VIP Board' with sizes & vintage price 8/9.

Made from amber gold warm tones. This room divider is designed to be mounted between the ceiling & floor, jutting out from a wall. At one end it has two satin black Dansette taped legs with brass caped feet, under a long low shelf. Three tall teak wood poles are mounted to the low shelf & to the top ceiling wooden plate. Only very minor age related surface scuffs.

It's been properly cleaned, teak oil polished & so is ready to mount & enjoy. The maker of the piece was clearly influenced by the Scandinavian designs of the same period & the likes of G-Plan & Ercol. Overall an exceptional quality made piece of room furniture in excellent display usable solid condition with lots of period charm. It's style & design is typical of it's period & would date nicely to late 1960's early 70's. This piece would make for a fabulous interior design statement. Bespoke Made Period / Style.
