VINTAGE 44 PIECE Mid Century Modern 1960s King's Pattern Silver Plate CUTLERY CANTEEN. Made by Smith Seymour Ltd, Sheffield. Here we have for sale a lovely vintage 44 piece Mid Century Modern 1960s silver plated cutlery canteen.

The canteen was made in Sheffield by Smith Seymour Ltd and dates from the 1960s. This stunning and rare heritage set comes in a superb brown wood mid century modern canteen case lined with purple fabric. The cutlery set is complete and bears little evidence of use. The cutlery is King's Pattern and a complete for 6 place settings and comprises 44 pieces as pictured.

The weight of set including the case: approximately 6kg. The cutlery polishes beautifully as pictured. This Mid Century Modern period cutlery is in excellent condition for its age. The only minor issue with the case's exterior are a few superficial scratches as pictured which we believe could be easily repaired but this has not been done by us so as to leave to the discretion of the purchaser. The case's interiors are in excellent condition too with attractive purple lining.

The lid lifts smoothly to 90 degrees and stays upright perfectly. Overall the case is in great vintage condition and presents well. Please ignore the light reflections and dark spots in the images - these are just light reflections! The pieces will be removed from their positions in the box and wrapped separately within the parcel for dispatch to avoid movement.
