Mid Century Esavian Bank of Drawers / Sideboard / Haberdashery Vintage School

  

This is a gorgeous recently refurbished. Mid Century Bank of Drawers / Sideboard. Made by Esavian, at any point from from the late 1950s to the 1970s, this 20 drawer unit is constructed in pine, beech and ply and would originally have been used in a school.

It is now very much suited to home use as a sideboard, media unit or for general storage. Over the years this drawer unit had been painted and over painted several times. We have stripped off all the layers of paint, sanded and refinished the wood. The overall condition is very good. There is obviously wear all round in keeping with the age and previous use of the piece.

There are lots of tiny flecks of paint ingrained in the wood that couldn't be sanded away. All the drawers are original, complete and run smoothly.

The drawers have been lined with paper. The esavian badge is present at the front. Please look at the photos for a better appreciation of the overall condition of this item. 120 cm W x 36cm D x 70cm H. 30cm D x 25cm W x 9cm H.
