HMV Mid Century Vintage HiFi. 2404 Receiver 2405 Turntable 2406 Speakers

  
HMV Mid Century Hi-Fi System. Now extremely rare, this HMV hifi system, comprising of 2404 recevier, 2405 turntable on stand and 2406 loud speakers, is a classic piece of mid century design.

In functioning order and in very good cosmetic condition these three units must have been in storage for a number of years to stand the test of time so well. 2404 receiver - Cabinet is in very good condition with only a few light marks to the casing. Fascia is in very good overall order but with four of the small control dials on the right hand side missing ther silver caps.

2405 Turntable - In very good cosmetic condition. Some pitting to the tubular chrome stand and one black plastic foot missing to the rear right. Light blue transparent perspex top in very good order with light scratching comensurate with the age. Positive action to the on / off switch and also the speed selector. Runs slightly slow at 33rpm, but using the manual adjustment this can be recitified. 2406 speakers - Very good overall cosmetic condition. A small chip to the top left of one of the cases and some ingrained dust on both speaker frets. Fine working order with bright treble and decent mid range & bass.
